Transfer & Articulation Council

To facilitate transfer and articulation across the system of public higher education, the Kansas Board of Regents established a Transfer and Articulation Council (TAAC) with oversight responsibility of implementing the Kansas Board of Regents' transfer and articulation policy.

• Revise/Add to Existing Systemwide Transfer (SWT) Course (fillable pdf). A form to revise/add to existing SWT courses currently offered by your institution.

• Application to Offer a NEW Systemwide Transfer (SWT) Course (fillable pdf). A form to offer SWT courses not previously offered by your institution.

• Revise/Add Instructions for Existing Systemwide Transfer (SWT) Course (pdf). The KRSN Articulation Maintenance Guide from KHEDs which has instructions on revisions and additions to existing SWT courses currently offered in the Transfer KS portal. 

• 2024 TAAC Quality Assurance Report (pdf). A report of common data on transfer student success and completion compiled as one measure of system effectiveness. 
• 2025 TAAC Quality Assurance Report (pdf). A report of common data on transfer student success and completion compiled as one measure of system effectiveness. 

• TAAC Operating Procedures (pdf). Outlines the Mission, Charge, Authority, Membership Structure, Appeals Process, responsibilities and outcomes for KCOG meetings, along with the schedule and timeline for the Kansas Board of Regents Transfer and Articulation Council.

• Kansas Systemwide Transfer (SWT) Appeal Process for Institutions (pdf). A system wide appeal process to ensure equitable resolution of disagreements regarding the transfer of an approved course between institutions.
