The Kansas Board of Regents is seeking an experienced and collaborative higher education leader to serve as its next Vice President for Academic Affairs.
As KBOR's chief academic officer, this position provides executive leadership for academic policy, systemwide initiatives, institutional engagement, and strategic priorities that support student success and strengthen Kansas higher education. The Vice President leads the Academic Affairs division, serves on the agency's executive leadership team, and works closely with college and university leaders, policymakers, and partners across the state.

This position supports statewide postsecondary data systems and reporting efforts that help inform decision-making across Kansas higher education. The role works with data collections, reporting tools, analytics, technical documentation, project coordination, and system enhancements.
The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, improving processes, and developing information that supports decision-making and agency priorities.
Salary Range: $63,000-$70,000 annually.
Work Location: Remote Work Authorized; periodic in-person meetings and agency events in Topeka may be required.
