Beloit Junior-Senior High School named a 2025 School of Excellence by ACT’s American College Application Campaign
(Topeka, Kan.) – ACT’s American College Application Campaign (ACAC) named Beloit Junior Senior High School as a 2025 School of Excellence as part of the Apply Kansas effort to increase the number of first-generation college students and students from under-resourced communities pursuing a college degree or other higher education credential. Beloit is one of 26 outstanding schools being recognized nationwide out of more than 10,000 schools that participated in ACAC last year.
Beloit Junior-Senior High School has also been named a 2026 Kansas All Star High School by the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR).
“The Regents congratulate Beloit Junior-Senior High School for their outstanding accomplishments and earning this national recognition from ACAC,” said KBOR Chair Blake Benson. “The team at Beloit should be commended for their commitment to helping students access a college education. We are thankful for their partnership and the partnership of all Apply Kansas high schools.”
Apply Kansas is the Regents’ annual statewide campaign in which high schools conduct events to help seniors apply to college. The campaign is conducted in partnership with ACAC with a goal of increasing the number of students applying, enrolling, and succeeding in college or other postsecondary pathways.
Nationally, the ACAC campaign served 1.95 million students in 2025 who submitted more than 2.6 million applications. This is the seventh year that ACAC has recognized outstanding schools.
